Northwestern switched from adidas to Under Armour for the
upcoming season, and there was a nice video that showcased the
behind-the-scenes of what the under armour uni designers go through when they
want to “rebrand” and school/team/university.
As a NW alumni, Darren Rovell has been all over it. He just tweeted the first pictures for the
new UA NW uniform. Northwestern is known
for their “Northwestern” stripe and apparently it is front and center. Literally.
With the stripe continuing to the biceps on the sleeves. The first thing that comes to mind is YOU’RE
TRYING TOO HARD. Whatever. Keep the stripes, keep the purple and
black. I didn’t have a problem when they
went back to the Fitz-era with the stripes on the sleeves, but when you are
recruiting for NW, you gotta have something different than the best library in
the B1G. We’ll see how long this lasts,
but sometimes doing nothing is the best change.

disagree. I went to school in the 94-98 Rose Bowl era and I LOVE these uniforms. The stripe across the front is sweet and hard-nosed...rugby-esque and I love it.!
