Miami Week: Remember When They Mattered?

It's still Miami week, a few days before the Buckeyes travel down to south Florida and take on the Hurricanes in The Orange Bowl, The New Orange Bowl, Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Park, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, Land Shark Stadium, Sun Life Stadium in one of the toughest road tests in college football.  Here are a couple of videos that take it back to the glory days of the U.  The Ineligibowl. ESPN. 730.  Oh, the 7th floor crew song (2004-2005)...NOT SAFE FOR WORK

In case you were wondering what the actual football team accomplished during Uncle Nevin's run as super booster who was a mid 30's 5 foot 5 white guy chillin' with Miami football players among other things (!)...they didn't get too much done on the gridiron.

2002: #2 12-1 (7-0) L BCS National Championship to Ohio State 31-24 (2OT)
2003: #5 11-2 (6-2) W Orange Bowl vs. Florida State 16-14 and Private Winslow told us it's more than just a game, it's war.
2004: #11 9-3 (5-3) W Peach Bowl vs. Florida 27-10
2005: #17 9-3 (6-2) L Peach Bowl vs. LSU 40-3
2006: 7-6 (3-5) W MPC Computers Bowl vs. Nevada 21-20...also had the FIU Brawl and Coaker Fired
2007: 5-7 (2-6) Lost 48-0 to Virginia (as a 3.5 favorite) in last game in the Orange Bowl or something
2008: 7-6 (4-4) L Emerald Bowl vs. Cal 24-17
2009: #19 9-4 (5-3) L Champs Sports Bowl vs. #22 Wisconsin 20-14
2010:  7-6 (5-3) L Sun Bowl vs. Notre Dame 33-17

this by far is my favorite player of the Uncle Nevin Era: Tavares Gooden.

What is he doing now? In the league duh.
